Hering Schuppener strengthens their Tech & Transformation Team in Berlin

Berlin, August 20, 2020 – The leading strategic communications consultancy, Hering Schuppener Consulting, is expanding its Tech & Transformation team in Berlin. With Marie Fabiunke, Stephan Dörner, Carolin Döring and Robert Spönemann, the company is strengthening its presence in the startup and tech scene and expanding its expertise in campaign management and data-driven communication.

Marie Fabiunke has been working in corporate communications for 15 years, primarily in the technology and startup sectors. The proven venture capital expert comes from Target Global, a leading European venture capital fund, where she took over communications, marketing and investor relations responsibilities in her role as Vice President. Earlier in her career, she worked as Head of Corporate Communications for the venture capital company Project A Ventures. Another steppingstone for Marie Fabiunke was Scout24 AG, where she was responsible for the communication of the IPO as Director Corporate Communications & PR.

For the past four years, Stephan Dörner has been responsible for reporting at t3n, the magazine for the digital future, as online editor-in-chief. Before that, the experienced journalist wrote about technology, startup and innovation topics, among others at DIE WELT, Wall Street Journal and Handelsblatt. With around 25,000 followers, he is one of the most far-reaching German journalists on Twitter. With his work he wants to advocate breaking down reservations about technological developments.

For one year, Carolin Döring from Zalando will change sides and work in the Tech & Transformation team. Carolin is currently Teamlead Global Communications at Europe’s leading online platform for fashion. The media and economics scientist graduate had previously worked at VDA and Deloitte and founded a sustainability startup.

Robert Spönemann joined the Hering Schuppener Tech & Transformation Team as Associate Director at the beginning of the year. The proven campaign expert can look back on more than ten years of experience in the political and digital space and has, among other things, specialized in personalized and target group-specific communication via social networks and search engines.

Hering Schuppener’s Tech & Transformation Team is led by Raphael Neuner and Prof. Dr. Christopher Storck. Raphael Neuner explains the development of the team: “We are pleased to have four well-known experts from various technology-driven areas for our team in Berlin. As a strategic communication consultancy, it is our mission to provide customers with comprehensive support in critical situations, that is, with the help of the latest technological possibilities. The new team members bring valuable experience and skills to the table.”

Christopher Storck adds: “With our continuously growing team in Berlin, we have managed to develop a unique advisory service at the interface between strategic communication, digitization and transformation.”

In addition to the Hering Schuppener Practices in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Berlin and Brussels, the Tech & Transformation Team supports startup and technology customers in their positioning. On the other hand, the team helps established companies to set up their communications department for the future, to use the latest digital and data-driven tools for their communication and to explain their transformation in order to win over internal and external stakeholders for the associated changes.
