The Frankfurt office of Hering Schuppener originated in 1995 and today operates with a team of 70 consultants. The location is currently run by seven partners and two managing directors.
The consultancy teams focus primarily on financial communications (M&A transactions, IPOs, capital measures, investor relations) and on Corporate Affairs, CEO communications, management coaching and reputation management.

The Düsseldorf location was founded by Ralf Hering in 1995 and is the German headquarters of Hering Schuppener. More than 50 consultants work at the company’s head office.

BiographyTina Mentner leads the Special Situations Practice of Hering Schuppener. From the Düsseldorf office, she develops communication strategies for crisis and change situations with a focus on restructuring processes and insolvencies. Since joining Hering Schuppener in 1999, Tina has advised far more than 100 companies on the prevention and handling of crises. Her previous work experience includes a leading corporate communications consultancy where she formed part of the advisory team that backed up the IPO of Deutsche Telekom. Tina studied at the universities of Bochum and Munich. She holds an M.A. in communications, economics and market and organisational psychology.

The Berlin office is focused on Corporate Affairs & Public Strategies. This business unit has been established in 2009 by Martin Bury. The team of 30 consultants in Berlin and Brussels is run by three partners and four directors.
Furthermore Hering Schuppener Digital was established in January 2016 in Berlin. The team of 20 consultants is run by Raphael Neuner as Partner.
BiographyHenriette Peucker works from the Berlin office in the Corporate Affairs & Public Strategies Practice. She focuses on advising companies in strategic stakeholder communications and especially on how to position themselves and advocate their interests in the political sphere. Henriette joined Hering Schuppener in 2010 from Deutsche Börse Group where she was Head of European Public Affairs. Between 1997 and 2002, she worked in the investment banking divisions of Schroders and Citigroup in London and before that in the French public affairs consultancy ESL&Network in Paris and Brussels. Henriette graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
BiographyRaphael Neuner heads Hering Schuppener's Digital Practice and focuses on strategic communication in the digital age. He advises venture capital funds, start-ups and established companies on their positioning in the digital space and communicating the digital transformation. Before joining Hering Schuppener, Raphael was Head of Public Policy at Metro AG. The digital and social dimensions of public affairs and communication were a focal point of his work; among other things, he developed the "digital head office" of the company. The political scientist also worked as personal advisor to a party chairman at the Permanent Representation of the Federal Republic of Germany in Brussels and in a Federal Ministry.

The Brussels office is the central office for advisory services related to the European Union for global clients from Hering Schuppener and our partner Finsbury. The office is located in the heart of the EU district, in direct proximity to the EU institutions.
BiographyGregoire Verdeaux, a French national, leads the EU Corporate Affairs team and the Brussels office of Hering Schuppener and provides international corporates with communication advice in all questions of European regulatory issues. He began his career in the French high civil service in 1995 first at the ministry of Foreign Affairs, then as Administrator of the French Senate. From 2001 to 2005, he was part of Michel Barnier’s cabinets in the European Commission and at the French Minister of Foreign Affairs. He then joined the United Nations (2005-2008) with fundraising and CFO roles in New York and Geneva, before he was called by the French Presidency and served as Deputy Head of Cabinet to President of France Nicolas Sarkozy until 2011.Gregoire Verdeaux then resigned from French civil service and joined business. He has been the European Policy Director for EDF (Électricité de France) from 2011 to 2014, handling several important energy policy reforms, in particular the 2014 landmark State aid case on new U.K. nuclear reactors. From 2014 to 2019, he was international policy director at Vodafone Group in London, representing Vodafone vis-à-vis the EU and managing external risks in emerging markets (notably in China and EMEA). He has been closely associated to most legislative proposals adopted under the EU Digital Single Market, as well as competition clearances in the telecoms sector.Gregoire Verdeaux holds a master’s degree in Public Law, and a degree from the Paris Institute of Political Studies. He taught constitutional and European law.
BiographyBiancastella de Angelis works for the Corporate Affairs & Public Strategies division and is based in the company’s Brussels office. She advises clients on strategic positioning, advocacy campaigns and interest representation in the political-regulatory domain at both EU and national level, and the political dimension of competition and trade cases. Before joining Hering Schuppener, she worked for Hewlett-Packard in the areas of Global Account Management and Marketing. Biancastella holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Lund University, a Master of Arts in European Politics and Administration from the College of Europe in Bruges and studied business at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. Besides her native Italian, she speaks German, English, French and Swedish.
