Christoph Bertram has led the build-up of the Brussels office. His focus in Germany and Europe is on advising companies on European anti-trust procedures and regulatory advocacy.
He joined Hering Schuppener after six years in politics and social entrepreneurship, where he was among other things a founding member of the Hertie School of Governance. In previous roles, he worked inter alia as personal assistant to Lord Ralf Dahrendorf in the House of Lords, at the ZEIT foundation and at Teach First Deutschland. Christoph studied European competition law, political science, economics and public law in Berkeley, York, Hamburg and in London at the LSE and King’s College.
